Chelsea Has Now Forward Out Of Club World Cup Squad

Chelsea will head into the FIFA Club World Cup without João Félix, as the Portuguese forward has been left out of the squad, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The decision comes as a surprise to many fans, especially after recent reports suggested he was working hard to secure a place in the squad. However, the club has now made it official, Félix will not travel with the team for the tournament.

The reasons behind the decision are not fully clear. It could be due to tactical choices, injury concerns, or simply the intense competition for spots in the squad. Whatever the case, it’s a big moment for both the player and the club, as Chelsea look to go all the way in the global competition.

Félix joined Chelsea on loan from Atlético Madrid in 2024 and has shown flashes of brilliance, but has also struggled with consistency even during his loan spell at AC Milan. His absence means that others in the squad, like. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, or Noni Madueke, will have to step up in the attacking roles.

The Club World Cup is a big chance for Chelsea to bring home silverware and make a global statement, especially under new management. Leaving out someone like Félix shows that tough decisions are being made with the team’s balance in mind.

For João Félix, it is a disappointing blow, but not the end of the road. He will now focus on getting back to top form and earning his place again, but for now, he will be watching the Club World Cup from the sidelines.
