It is a new beginning for Trent Alexander-Arnold as the English right-back officially arrives in Spain to join Real Madrid. According to Fabrizio Romano, the 26-year-old star will wear the number 12shirt at his new club.

After spending his entire career at Liverpool, where he became a fan favourite and a key part of Jurgen Klopp’s side, Alexander-Arnold is ready to start fresh in La Liga. Known for his excellent passing, dangerous crosses, and ability to create from deep, he now brings his unique style to the Spanish giants.

While some fans may have expected him to take a more traditional number, number 12 carries its own meaning. It is a symbol of a fresh start, and maybe a sign of respect as he enters a squad full of superstars.

With Dani Carvajal nearing the latter stages of his career, Trent is seen as a long-term solution at right-back. Many are eager to see how he will fit into Carlo Ancelotti’s plans and how his style will blend with Real Madrid’s fast, attacking football.

From Anfield to the Bernabéu, it is a big move, but one that could take his career to an even higher level. All eyes will be on number 12 as Trent begins this exciting new chapter. He is now set to be officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player.

After the Club World Cup campaign, the former Liverpool defender will hope to cement his place in Xabi Alonso’s starting lineup and win more trophies at the Santiago Bernabeu.
